General Information
In Nov. 2004, the twelve Type I telecom operators designated TTC as the trustee to be in charge of the construction and operation of Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC). NP service was then officially started on 13th Oct. 2005.
After operation of NPAC, over thirteen million fixed line and twenty-three million mobile phone subscribers can benefit from the NP service. Subscribers can change their operators while maintaining their numbers. The implementation of the service not only ensures consumers' rights and interests of choosing operators, but also facilitates the fair competitive environment of telecom markets.

NPAC has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 certificate by BSI in April 2007.
Technical Capabilities Diagram mark:up
  • To design, implement, operate, and manage the NP central database.
  • To set up the SOP and operate and manage NOC of NPAC.

Application and information query of Number Portability service
Offer routing information to telecom operators by 7x 24 service.
Certification service
Provide telecom operators with testing and certification of their application administration system and service management upgrade. That ensures the interfaces and processes among operators conformed to and synchronized to NPAC and avoids interruption of overall service due to any system problem occurred to single operator.
Consulting service
Offer system and network design, automatic NP plan, and consultation service according to different attributes of operators, in order to shorten on-line process and ensure system quality and stabilization.
Training
Provide operators with training courses to their NP technical and customer service staff, to enhance our customer's capability to solve problems.
Communication monitoring support
With NP service implemented, we can support supervisory office (i.e. MJIB,CIB) to enforce the monitoring mission, and to benefit the social stabilization and national security.
