Research on Resource Consolidation and Management
Wireless Communication Resources Consolidation and Management
In order to comprehend the international trends in preparing spectrum resources for 5G and B5G technologies as well as the policy priorities of various countries, the TTC continues to research international policies and measures for the planning, preparation and promotion of spectrum resources such as the next phase of 5G released frequency bands, Low Earth Orbit Satellite and 6G to address Taiwan’s spectrum allocation and market circumstances. Research into policy recommendations should address the planning and preparation needed by Taiwan’s market environment to assist the Ministry of Digital Affairs with emerging applications in 5G/B5G/6G, such as the spectrum resource management of V2X and drones to comprehensively advance Taiwan’s policy goals. The efficient utilization of Taiwan’s radio frequency resources will bring improved benefits and drive overall development of the communications industry.
The TTC assists competent authorities in drafting or revising relevant standards and regulations as follows:
Regulations and Enforcement Rules:
- Regulations Governing the Use of Radio Frequencies (Articles 12, 17, 21, 22)
- Amendment to the Table of Radio Frequency Allocations of the Republic of China (Taiwan)
- Amendment to the Radio Frequency Supply Plan of the Republic of China (Taiwan)
