Taiwan has completed the license release of frequency 3.3-3.57GHz in 2020. The telecom operators won the bid of spectrum deploy the 5th generation mobile networks (5G) infrastructure accordingly and leads the country’s telecom market into new era of mobile communication technology.
TTC continues fully supporting in comprehensive measurement study and development towards the National Communications Commission’s-5G development policy, providing a friendly environment to 5G application services in terms of faster transmission speed, high bandwidth and high density. Value-added applications, such as high-quality audio-visual entertainment, smart medical care, smart factories, autonomous vehicles, drones, smart cities….etc., accelerate the upgrading of overall communication technology and innovative applications, and further promote the overall country competitive strength for radio spectrum resource.
In addition, TTC ensures the technical capability in line with global standard via analysis and research of global standard, which supports the authorities in drafting and formulating various emerging technical specifications and reconciliation between domestic and international standards.
