In order to protect your rights as well as personal information collection and usage of TTC services at the website, you are invited to read our Privacy Policy & Personal Information Notification (hereinafter referred to as Policy & Notification) carefully.

Scope of Application

The following privacy policy is applicable to all activities conducted on the Telecom Technology Center Official Website (hereinafter referred to as TTC website), including the collection, processing and usage of users' personal information. Each of the websites that can be accessed via a link at the TTC website has its own exclusive privacy policy, and TTC cannot accept any responsibility associated with it. Please be aware of the related privacy policies, personal information notification and security which are beyond TTC’s liabilities.

Personal Information Notification

This is to inform you of how TTC manage Personal Information which is subject to Articles 8 and 9 of the Personal Data Protection Act for the purpose of (040) Marketing, (063) Non-government agency collect or process personal information under legal obligations, (069) Contract, contract-like or other legal relation matters, (078) Plan, control, evaluation and other research and evaluation, (090) Consumer, customer management and service, (098) Business and technical information, (107) Procurement and supply management, (116) Site safety management, (130) Meeting management, (135) Information (Communication) services, (136) Information (Communication) and database management, (137) Information and communication security and management (171) Other central government authorities and its subordinate authority internal management, supervision of public affairs, administrative assistance and related services.

Personal information with identifying individuals (C001) collected at TTC seminar registration website will be provided to TTC, or per legal and regulation requirements, to the competent authority of TTC, the authority with investigation right on law, the agencies with business engagement with TTC or other parties you agree to. TTC shall use the data via automated machines or other non-automated methods during business execution period and services provided area, also have it well reserved for specific purpose in the retention period.

Personal Information Processing and Protection

Your personal information provided will be properly managed by TTC’s Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection (hereinafter referred to as CS & PDP) management procedures. All TTC staff and cooperative agencies have signed confidentiality contracts with TTC to ensure strict personal information protection. If there is any advertisement or spam mail received under TTC’s name, please notify TTC for follow ups.

TTC shall take proper responsibility to supervise and manage the agencies or representatives commissioned on collection, processing or usage of your authorized personal information.

TTC website is equipped with essential measures and technologies to prevent unauthorized acquisition, leakage, loss, destruction and unauthorized modification of personal information. The standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security system is applied to some measures and technologies in aim of information transmission security, detection and recording mechanism shall take place to website intrusion.

If you have any doubts about TTC’s collection, processing and usage of personal information, your appeal can be made to our competent authority (National Communications Commission).

Use of Data

TTC will not disclose users' personal information for sale, trade or lease to any other organizations, individuals or private enterprises with the exception in the following circumstances –

• With your consent in advance or personal information collection within specific purposes.
• To comply with law obligations or requirements by government agencies.
• Other reasons complied with specific purposes of the Personal Data Protection Law, such as illegal activities prevention, other individual’s safety protection.
• To establish or maintain legal claims or defenses.
• To provide necessary information to law enforcement agencies for legal pursuit, such as TTC in jeopardy of cyber security incident.
• Any data disclosure for international transfer shall take place with your consent and be processed in accordance with the related legal requirements of Taiwan, EU or other member countries.

Amendments to Policy and Notification

In response to changes and amendments to TTC’s Cyber Security and Personal Data Protection Management policies and objectives as well as legal requirements, TTC website’s policies and notifications shall make timely revisions with the latest amended terms announced for your review at any time.
