TELECOM TECHNOLOGY CENTER

The TTC has entered into a strategic cooperation with DEKRA, a world-renowned testing and certification organization. The two parties signed a memorandum of cooperation on January 25, 2024, and will be committed to promoting the development of testing technologies related to artificial intelligence (AI) security, cybersecurity, and low-orbit satellites (LEO). The main topic of cooperation is to jointly establish an advanced AI security laboratory, formulate relevant testing standards, and provide AI testing services to ensure the safe use of AI. The two parties also agreed to continue to explore potential opportunities for cooperation in the fields of semiconductors, internet of vehicles C-V2X, radio frequency products, low-orbit satellites and cybersecurity by providing the infrastructure necessary for digital transformations to provide secure and reliable testing environments.

The TTC Chairman Wu Tzong-Chen stated: "DEKRA Group is a long-term strategic partner of the TTC. Both parties recognize that safe testing technologies that meet industry and supervisory needs have not yet been established in response to the global emergence of technologies such as AI and LEO. This cooperation will establish relevant testing laboratories in Taiwan and cultivate technical industry talents in the hope of becoming the solid backing for digital transformation and industrial development in Taiwan.”

This cooperation symbolizes that the TTC and DEKRA will once again work together to reach a new milestone. Both parties will utilize innovative thinking and best practices to formulate testing standards that strengthen the safety and reliability of AI as well as provide the greatest contribution to the development of industrial technology.
