TTC Continues as the Maintenance Manager of Number Portability Centralized Database Administration Center(NPAC) for the 4th Term

“NPAC 4th Term Signing Ceremony and the 1st Term Management Committee Meeting”is held today (27th).  the signing ceremony was conducted by TTC Deputy CEO Pu Ching-Ling with industry delegates of Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, Taiwan Star, Asia-Pacific Telecom, Far EasTone Telecom, Taiwan Fixed Network and New Century InfoComm Tech for TTC as the 4th term NPAC maintenance manager entrusted by operators.

TTC continues as NPAC maintenance operation manager for the 4th time from telecom operators' recognition on its professional and neutral third-party role of NPAC system operation management as well as excellent outcome in annual maintenance KPI achievement. As of the end of October, 2020, the total number porting of mobility and fixed network has more than 70 million, TTC's role at NPAC facilitates the industry with fair competitive environment and number portability shared database mechanism.

Along with the rapid development of technology, laws and regulations, TTC continues NPAC optimization at system and management procedures which improve consumer convenience tremendously by user application and number portability operation timeline from 4 working days shorten to effective in next early morning of porting application.  Furthermore, TTC has obtained ISO 27001 international information security certification and Information Security Management System (abbreviated as ISMS) since 2007, conducted information security audit twice a year and continue to strengthen information security management measures in compliance with cyber security regulatory requirements for NPAC system safeguard.

In the future, TTC will continue the professional, fair and high-efficient service spirit to follow telecom related laws and regulations and service quality criterion of entrusted management contract in striving to enhance system efficiency, function and information security to assist the competent authority and operators to co-build a platform for telecom industry development and fair competition.
